A young professional couple with two small children who live in Brussels, who are often traveling around the world for work, commissioned me to renovate their home in North Rome for their return to Italy.

The main requests were: to make the home brighter, more elegant and welcoming, to optimize and reorganize the two bathrooms and the kitchen by creating an extra shower. To create as much storage space as possible.

The reference to elements that hark back to the past and to classicism, the arches, frame the spaces and welcome.

The main color and material palette on which the renovation of the project is developed recalls the effect of the marbles present in the hall of the building.

The existing parquet was brought back to life, making it brighter and more natural with a water finish.

The custom kitchen fits like a puzzle into the small bathroom to which an extra shower was created.

Through the composition of the new space and the furniture, we tried to make the rooms harmonious by using minimal furniture with simple lines that could contain as much as possible and facilitate cleaning, without losing the harmony and proportions between the parts.
